“Sahim” was homeless when we found him. He is a Christ follower who fled his home country to escape persecution, surviving the arduous journey across Iran and Turkey. Crossing the river separating Turkey and Greece in an inflatable raft, “Sahim” found refuge with the UN before making his way to one of Europe’s influential cities. God has provided “Sahim” a home there. He has a heart for evangelism and a learner’s spirit. He has joined our team, is being discipled, and desires to see God launch a movement of reproducing disciples and churches in this city and beyond. He has already translated the “Creation 2 Christ” story into Urdu.

Another inspiring story of God’s power involves “Kamal,” a North African man. A member of our team shared their testimony with him. “Kamal” is extremely peaceful and well connected in his community. His wife and four children are back in his war torn country in Africa. Our team member started sharing the “Creation 2 Christ” story with him, but before he could finish, “Kamal” said he believed in Jesus and wanted to tell others about Him. Our team member prayed alongside “Kamal” as he repented of his sins and placed his faith in Jesus. The team is discipling “Kamal” and casting vision for him to share with and disciple others. “Kamal” has already led two of his friends to the Lord and is discipling them on how to share the love of Christ with others. We are hoping to see a third generation of believers soon!
